Question 1

Is the interior actually big enough for a small family, or is it best for 1-2 people?

Accepted Answer

It's ideal for 1-2 people or small-batch cooking. While it perfectly fits a 12-inch pizza, the air fry basket and rack space are compact. Many TikTok users who are parents mention they love it for quick kid snacks or personal pizzas, but for air-frying a full meal for a family of four, you'll likely need to cook in 2-3 batches. It's a space-saver best suited for couples, singles, or small households.

Question 2

I've seen comments about temperature issues. How accurate and consistent is the cooking performance?

Accepted Answer

The Gourmia excels at fast, high-heat cooking like pizza and air frying, where precision is slightly less critical. However, based on detailed Reddit discussions, some units can have slight temperature variances, and the digital presets may need manual tweaking. For perfect results, especially with baking, using an inexpensive oven thermometer is a popular hack among experienced users to find your unit's "sweet spot."

Question 3

What's the real build quality like? Does it feel durable, and how easy is it to clean?

Accepted Answer

The stainless steel exterior looks great but can show fingerprints and minor scratches. The included pizza stone and removable drip tray are praised for being easy to clean. A common note from reviews is that the door has a lighter feel than expected, but most find it holds up well with standard countertop use. The non-stick coatings on accessories should be hand-washed to maintain durability.

Question 4

As a multi-cooker, does it truly replace a toaster, air fryer, and pizza oven well, or is it just okay at some functions?

Accepted Answer

It's exceptional for pizza, very good for air frying (though with a smaller capacity than a dedicated basket fryer), and functions as a decent toaster. Think of it as a fantastic specialist (pizza) that's also a capable generalist. If your primary goal is perfect pizza and you want to declutter other appliances, it's a winner. If you need a huge air fry capacity or do a lot of precise baking, a dedicated appliance or larger convection oven might be a better fit.

Question 5

What kind of warranty and customer support can I expect if something goes wrong?

Accepted Answer

Gourmia typically offers a 1-year limited warranty. Feedback on customer support is mixed, as is common with many small appliance brands. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend purchasing from an authorized retailer (like Amazon, Target, or directly from Gourmia) that handles returns directly within the first 30 days. This gives you a risk-free period to test it with your favorite foods.
