Question 1

Will the clamp fit my thick desk or kitchen countertop?

Accepted Answer

The clamp is designed for surfaces up to approximately 2.4 inches (6 cm) thick. It's perfect for most standard desks, tables, and bed frames. However, if your countertop or standing desk is thicker than that (a common issue with some kitchen islands), you may need to look for a stand with a C-clamp design. We recommend measuring your surface thickness before ordering.

Question 2

Is it truly stable enough for a heavy device like a 15.6" laptop or a large tablet?

Accepted Answer

Yes, its sturdy aluminum construction is a major highlight in reviews. It securely holds devices from 4.7" to 15.6". Users consistently praise its stability for heavier tablets and small laptops during typing and video calls. For the absolute heaviest devices at the arm's maximum extension, some users note a very slight give, but overwhelmingly report it feels solid and secure for daily use.

Question 3

Can I use this while lying in bed, or is it only for the bed frame?

Accepted Answer

This is a key distinction! The stand needs a solid, firm edge to clamp onto. It works fantastically when clamped to a wooden or metal bed frame. However, it will not work if you try to attach it directly to a soft mattress or a plush, padded headboard. For that specific use case, a flexible gooseneck holder might be a better fit.

Question 4

How difficult is it to set up and adjust the tension?

Accepted Answer

Setup is straightforward—just clamp it on and place your device. Adjusting the arm's tension (how easily it moves and holds position) uses a large knob. A few users mentioned a short "learning curve" of about a minute to find their preferred tightness. The key is to not overtighten; a firm twist is usually enough to lock the arm securely in any position.

Question 5

Who is this stand best suited for, and what's the return policy if it doesn't work for my setup?

Accepted Answer

This stand is ideal for anyone looking to improve ergonomics and free up space. Remote workers, students, kitchen cooks, and bedside users with a solid bed frame love it. If the clamp doesn't fit your furniture or it's not what you expected, our standard return policy applies. Please check your order details or contact our customer service for the specific return window and process for your region.
