Question 1

Will this cable definitely fit my KZ ZS10 Pro or CCA C12 IEMs?

Accepted Answer

It fits *many* popular KZ and CCA models, but there's a crucial detail. This cable uses "QDC-C" style pins, which are shorter. Some users with deeply recessed 2-pin sockets (common on ZS10 Pro, C12) have reported a loose or insecure connection. We recommend double-checking your IEM's socket depth. If your stock cable has exposed pins, this should fit. If the pins are mostly hidden in a deep port, you may need a cable with longer pins.

Question 2

How is the microphone and remote quality for phone calls?

Accepted Answer

Feedback on the microphone is mixed. While it works for basic call functionality, several users on platforms like Reddit have noted that callers may describe the audio as "muffled" or lower quality compared to a phone's native mic. If crystal-clear call quality is a priority, you might be happier with the version of this cable without a microphone.

Question 3

Is this a genuine upgrade over the stock cable that came with my earphones?

Accepted Answer

For most users, yes—primarily in build and aesthetics. The braided fabric sheath is more durable and tangle-resistant than rubber, and the connectors feel more substantial. As for sound, some listeners report a slight improvement in clarity, but this is subtle and subjective. The main consensus is that it's a great value upgrade for look and feel, not a night-and-day sonic transformation.

Question 4

The cable is described as "6N Silver Plated." What does that mean, and is it accurate?

Accepted Answer

"6N" refers to a purity grade of the silver used in plating the copper wires. While it indicates a high-quality material, it's a common marketing term in the budget cable market. The takeaway from user reviews is that the cable offers good performance for its price point, but the focus should be on its physical construction and compatibility rather than the technical purity claim.

Question 5

What if the cable doesn't fit or I have issues with it?

Accepted Answer

We recommend contacting the seller directly through the platform you purchased from to inquire about their specific return or exchange policy for compatibility issues. Many reviewers suggest having your IEM model name ready when asking questions. For future-proofing, several experienced users recommend measuring your IEM's pin socket or looking for cables that specify their pin length in millimeters if you've had fit issues before.
