Question 1

Do I have to strain the milk after it's done, or is it really pulp-free?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you're making. For soy and almond milk, most users find the 12-blade grinder delivers a smooth, drinkable result with minimal sediment. For oat milk, though, many TikTok and Reddit users report needing a quick strain through a nut bag to avoid grit. If pulp-free oat milk is your top priority, keep that in mind.

Question 2

How well does it actually handle oat milk? I've seen mixed reviews.

Accepted Answer

Honestly, oat milk is this machine's weakest spot. Soy and almond come out consistently creamy, but oat results vary a lot depending on the oats and ratio you use — some batches turn out silky, others slimy or watery. If oat milk is your main reason for buying, you may want to compare a few models first.

Question 3

Is the self-cleaning function enough, or do I still have to wash it by hand?

Accepted Answer

The self-clean cycle does a solid job rinsing out the pitcher, but it won't fully clean the blade assembly or the corners. Most reviewers still give it a quick hand wash after. Think of it as a helpful pre-rinse rather than a replacement for washing — cleanup is still easy, just not fully automatic.

Question 4

I noticed some reviewers mention a smell or residue at first. Is that normal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a faint plastic or machine smell and light residue in the first one or two batches is commonly reported. It typically fades after a couple of uses. Running a plain water cycle before your first real batch helps speed that up. If it lingers beyond a few uses, that would be worth flagging to customer support.

Question 5

Who is this best suited for — and who should probably skip it?

Accepted Answer

It's a great fit for daily soy or almond milk drinkers, busy households that love the 12H timer and keep-warm function, and anyone with limited counter space. It's less ideal for oat milk purists, buyers who want a truly hands-off "no straining" experience, or anyone comparing it to premium stainless-steel makers. If your expectations match its strengths, it's a convenient, good-value pick.
