Question 1

How long does one bar last, and is it worth the price?

Accepted Answer

A single bar typically yields many washes, depending on hair length and how you apply it. For average use, most people find it lasts about 1–3 months and appreciate the plastic-free packaging. If you want to minimize waste and like solid formats, many users feel it’s cost-effective; if you’re sensitive to upfront cost, consider how often you wash and your hair length.

Question 2

How do I use the solid shampoo and can I replace conditioner?

Accepted Answer

Wet your hair, rub the bar on your scalp or work up a lather in your hands, massage, then rinse. For oily hair, it cleans well and you’ll likely feel fresh, though you may want to apply conditioner to mid-lengths and ends if your hair is dry or damaged. You can experiment to see if you can skip conditioner entirely or only use a small amount.

Question 3

Will this dry my hair or irritate my scalp?

Accepted Answer

Some users report temporary dryness, especially on ends, while others notice scalp relief from itching or less oil. To minimize dryness, rinse thoroughly, limit over-washing, and consider conditioning the ends. If you have a sensitive scalp, patch test first and monitor how your hair responds over a few washes.

Question 4

Is the packaging truly plastic-free, and what about shipping/returns?

Accepted Answer

Yes—the bar is sold with plastic-free packaging, which appeals to eco-minded shoppers. Return and refund policies vary by retailer, so check the specific seller’s terms and timeline. If you’re unsure, start with a retailer known for clear returns.

Question 5

Who is it best for, and how does it compare to alternatives?

Accepted Answer

It’s a strong fit for people with oily hair who want an eco-friendly, plastic-free option and don’t mind testing a new routine. If you prefer extra conditioning or have very dry or chemically treated hair, you might compare this with other solid shampoos that offer richer conditioning or a liquid option. Some users also try other brands like Ethique or HiBAR for different scent and conditioning profiles.
