Question 1

Will these ramps slide on a smooth garage floor?

Accepted Answer

This is a common concern. While the ramps provide excellent traction on asphalt and grass, some users report they can slide on very smooth surfaces like epoxy or polished concrete. For use in a garage, we recommend placing them on a rubber mat or having a helper steady them as you drive up. Once the vehicle's weight is on them, they are very stable.

Question 2

Will these ramps work on grass, gravel, or a soft driveway?

Accepted Answer

For safety and stability, we strongly recommend using them only on a firm, level, paved surface like concrete or asphalt. A common piece of feedback from users is that on grass or gravel, the ramps can sink or become unstable, which doesn't align with the secure experience you're looking for.

Question 3

Will these ramps slide on a smooth epoxy or concrete garage floor?

Accepted Answer

Some users on DIY forums have noted they can slide on very smooth, hard surfaces. For maximum safety, we recommend placing them on a rubber mat or using a non-slip pad underneath, especially if the surface is dusty or wet. The heavy-duty steel construction provides great stability, but this extra precaution on polished floors is a common pro-tip.

Question 4

Will these ramps slide on a smooth concrete or epoxy garage floor?

Accepted Answer

Many users on DIY forums have noted that on perfectly smooth, polished, or wet surfaces, the ramps can potentially slide. They excel on asphalt, gravel, or textured concrete. For use on slick floors, we recommend placing them on a heavy-duty rubber mat or using wheel chocks for absolute safety.

Question 5

Will these ramps slip on my smooth concrete or epoxy garage floor?

Accepted Answer

While the ramps provide excellent traction on asphalt, gravel, and grass, some users on very smooth surfaces like epoxy report that they can slide forward during use. For safety on slick floors, we recommend placing a rubber mat or using wheel chocks behind the ramps. The "any surface" claim is best interpreted for typical outdoor and textured garage surfaces.
