Question 1

I love the look, but I'm worried it will be too big for my desk. How can I be sure it will fit?

Accepted Answer

This is a very common concern, and for good reason—the "Extended Size" is substantial. We recommend measuring your desk's *usable* width (where your keyboard and mouse go). The pad is 800mm wide (about 31.5 inches). Many happy users on Reddit suggest leaving a few inches of space on either side for a clean look. If your desk is under 100cm (39 inches) wide, it might overwhelm the space.

Question 2

How's the surface for both gaming and all-day office work? Is the stitched edge comfortable?

Accepted Answer

The surface gets consistent praise for its smooth, low-friction glide, perfect for gaming mice. For office work, it provides a comfortable, unified area for your keyboard and mouse. The stitched edges are high-quality and prevent fraying, but a small number of users with sensitive skin mention they can feel the ridge during very long, continuous sessions. If your forearm rests directly on the edge for hours, a pad with a flat-stitched border might be more suitable.

Question 3

I've seen comments about a smell. What's that about?

Accepted Answer

Some customers notice a rubbery odor upon unboxing, which is typical for many rubber-based mats straight from the factory. The consensus from reviews is that the smell is not harmful and dissipates completely after unrolling the mat and letting it air out in a well-ventilated room for 24-48 hours.

Question 4

Does the non-slip rubber base really work, and will the edges curl over time?

Accepted Answer

The non-slip base is highly effective on wooden, laminate, and plastic desks. On very smooth surfaces like glass, it generally holds well but may shift during extremely forceful movements. Regarding curling, the 2mm thickness helps it lay flat. While rare, if your pad arrives with a slight curl from packaging, laying it flat under a heavy book overnight usually solves it. The quality stitching also helps maintain its shape long-term.

Question 5

Who would you say this mouse pad is NOT for?

Accepted Answer

Honestly, it might not be the best fit if you have a very small desk, as its size is its main feature. It's also not for those who prioritize a completely seamless, flush edge where their wrist rests. Finally, if you need immediate use out of the box with zero odor, you might want to consider a more premium, fabric-focused brand. For everyone else—gamers, WFH professionals, and students looking for a huge, stylish, and high-value desk mat—it's a fantastic choice.
