Question 1

I have larger hands and usually palm-grip my mouse. Will the Kreo Anzu be comfortable for me?

Accepted Answer

Based on numerous user reviews, the Anzu is generally best suited for small to medium-sized hands and excels with claw or fingertip grips. Several users with larger hands who prefer a full palm grip reported their fingers can drag on the mousepad or that it feels too small for extended comfort. If you have medium/large hands and use a palm grip, you might want to consider a slightly larger ergonomic mouse.

Question 2

Does this mouse connect via Bluetooth, or is a USB dongle required?

Accepted Answer

The Kreo Anzu uses a low-latency 2.4GHz wireless connection via an included USB-A dongle. It does not have Bluetooth functionality. This is a common point of clarification, as the dongle-based connection is preferred for gaming due to its stability and speed, but it means you'll need a free USB port.

Question 3

How is the build quality and durability? I've seen some reviews mention creaking.

Accepted Answer

The overall build quality receives high marks for its price point, featuring durable Huano switches rated for 80 million clicks. While the majority of users find it solid, a small number have noted minor inconsistencies like slight shell flex or button wobble, which seems to vary by unit. The honeycomb design is sturdy for its ultralight weight, but it's not as monolithic as a heavier, solid-shell mouse.

Question 4

Is the configuration software easy to use, and do I need to install it?

Accepted Answer

You do not need the software for basic plug-and-play functionality. However, to customize DPI settings, polling rate, button assignments, or RGB lighting, you will need to install the Kreo software. Feedback from the community is mixed: many find it gets the job done, while others note it can feel a bit unpolished or unintuitive compared to mainstream brands like Logitech or Razer.

Question 5

Who is this mouse an ideal fit for, and who might want to look at an alternative?

Accepted Answer

The Kreo Anzu is a fantastic value for budget-minded gamers, especially those playing fast-paced titles like FPS, who have small-to-medium hands and use a claw or fingertip grip. It's perfect if you prioritize low weight and a high-performance sensor without breaking the bank. Consider an alternative if you have very large hands, require Bluetooth, or place a premium on having the most refined, bug-free companion software.
