Question 1

I’ve seen some TikTok users say the motor gets hot after long use. Can this mixer really run non-stop for 90 minutes without issues?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 900-watt double ball bearing motor is designed for non-stop operation up to 90 minutes. However, social media feedback suggests that for very heavy loads (like thick spice pastes or dense batters), the motor may warm up earlier. For best results, give it a 2-minute break every 30 minutes if you’re grinding continuously. It handles normal daily tasks—like chutney, smoothies, or idli batter—without any heat problems.

Question 2

How durable are the plastic jars, and can I get replacements if they crack?

Accepted Answer

The jars are made of food-grade polycarbonate plastic, which is sturdy for regular use. That said, some Reddit users reported cracks in the 500ml chutney jar after a few months, especially if used for hot ingredients. Sujata does offer spare jars for purchase through their service centers and some online marketplaces. To extend jar life, avoid pouring boiling liquids directly into them and hand-wash instead of using a dishwasher.

Question 3

Is this mixer grinder very loud? I live in an apartment and don’t want to disturb neighbors.

Accepted Answer

Honest feedback from buyers notes that the Sujata Supermix is louder than some premium models (like Bosch or Preethi). At 22,000 RPM, the high-speed motor generates noticeable noise—many describe it as a “jet engine” sound. If noise is a concern, consider using it during daytime hours or placing a rubber mat underneath to dampen vibration. For early-morning use, a quieter model might be a better fit.

Question 4

What’s the warranty, and how easy is the return or refund process if I’m not satisfied?

Accepted Answer

The mixer comes with a standard 2-year warranty on the motor and 1 year on the jars and parts. Return and refund policies depend on the retailer, not Sujata directly. Most e-commerce sellers offer a 7-to-10-day replacement window for defects, not for change of mind. Buyers on forums recommend keeping the original packaging and checking the unit immediately upon delivery, as some had to go through customer support for minor lid issues.

Question 5

Who is this mixer grinder best for? I mainly need it for Indian cooking like grinding masalas and making dosa batter.

Accepted Answer

This model is an excellent fit for Indian home cooks who need a powerful, budget-friendly workhorse. It handles masala grinding, lentil batter, and chutneys beautifully thanks to its high RPM and sharp blades. It’s less ideal if you have a tiny kitchen (the 1750ml blender jar is quite tall) or if you prefer stainless steel jars for durability. For occasional use like smoothies or soups, it’s overkill—you’d be fine with a smaller, quieter blender.
