Question 1

Is the stand really as wobbly and limited as some reviews say?

Accepted Answer

Many users on Reddit and tech forums note the included stand is basic, offering only tilt adjustment and lacking height or swivel. It's stable for typical use but can wobble on shaky desks. If ergonomics are a priority, the monitor is VESA-compatible (100x100mm), and investing in a third-party arm is a popular and recommended solution.

Question 2

Can I use this with an NVIDIA graphics card, and is the 1ms response time real?

Accepted Answer

Yes! While it features AMD FreeSync, it's widely reported as being "G-Sync Compatible" and works very well with NVIDIA GPUs for tear-free gaming. The "1ms VRB" refers to a specific motion-blur-reduction mode (Visual Response Boost). It's effective but introduces slight flicker and disables Adaptive Sync. For most, using the standard fast IPS response with Adaptive Sync provides the best overall experience.

Question 3

I work from home and game at night. How effective are the eye-care features?

Accepted Answer

Perfect for that hybrid use. The WQHD resolution provides excellent screen real estate and crisp text for productivity. The Low Blue Light mode is easily accessible via the OSD menu and is praised by users for reducing eye strain during long sessions. The 100Hz refresh rate also makes scrolling in documents and browsers noticeably smoother than a standard 60Hz office monitor.

Question 4

What's the deal with HDR on this monitor? Should I use it?

Accepted Answer

The monitor can accept an HDR signal, but as many YouTube reviewers highlight, it lacks the peak brightness for a true HDR experience. The general consensus is to enjoy the fantastic Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) performance, which offers vibrant and accurate colors. Enabling HDR on Windows for this monitor often results in a washed-out image.

Question 5

What's your warranty policy, and what happens if there are dead pixels?

Accepted Answer

This monitor comes with a standard manufacturer's warranty. We recommend registering your product with Acer upon purchase. Panel quality is high, but as with any display, a tiny percentage may have uniformity issues or pixel defects. Be sure to inspect your monitor upon arrival. For specific warranty length and dead pixel policy details, please check Acer's official website or your retailer's policy at the time of purchase, as these can vary by region.
