Question 1

Will this remote work with my Samsung or LG smart TV?

Accepted Answer

No, it will not. This is a key limitation noted by many users. The product description specifies it is not compatible with most Samsung and LG TV models due to their proprietary infrared codes. We strongly advise against purchasing this remote if your primary device is a Samsung or LG TV.

Question 2

Is there noticeable lag when typing or using the air mouse?

Accepted Answer

Some users, particularly those using it for fast typing or gaming, report a slight input delay. For general navigation, browsing, and media playback, the response is typically fine. If ultra-low latency is critical for you (e.g., for PC gaming), you may want to consider a dedicated wireless keyboard or a higher-end model.

Question 3

How reliable is the IR learning function, and is it easy to set up?

Accepted Answer

Feedback on the IR learning feature is mixed. While it can work for simple commands like power or volume, many users find it finicky and inconsistent for more complex remotes. The setup process requires patience. A common social media tip is to ensure the remotes are very close together (head-to-head) in a dimly lit room during the learning process.

Question 4

What's the build quality like? Does it feel durable?

Accepted Answer

The remote is lightweight and compact, which users love for couch use. However, the trade-off is that the plastic casing can feel thin or somewhat flimsy compared to premium remotes. It's designed for convenience and versatility rather than ruggedness. Handling it with care is recommended.

Question 5

I have an Android TV Box and a projector. Will this simplify my setup?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This is where the remote shines. Owners of devices like Android TV Boxes (e.g., Nvidia Shield), projectors, HTPCs, and Windows PCs consistently praise it for consolidating control. The combination of keyboard, air mouse, and basic IR control (for compatible devices) can replace multiple remotes, making it a great value-for-money solution for these setups.
