Question 1

Can I trim the Ohuhu Door Draft Stopper to fit my door, and how do I do it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The 118" length can be cut to fit standard doors. Use scissors to trim a little at a time, then test the fit under the door. It’s best to measure first and trim gradually for a clean seal.

Question 2

What materials is it made of, and is it durable enough for winter use?

Accepted Answer

It’s a soft, flexible seal with a foam core designed to block drafts and dust. It works well for winter use on interior and exterior doors, but some users report wear over time with heavy use. Gentle handling and keeping it dry helps longevity.

Question 3

Will it stay in place on carpeted floors or uneven thresholds?

Accepted Answer

It slides under the door and generally stays in place, but on carpet or very uneven floors it can shift or slip. A little extra positioning or a light wedge can help on those surfaces.

Question 4

How effective is it for drafts, and is it suitable for exterior doors?

Accepted Answer

It significantly reduces drafts and dust in many cases and is suitable for both interior and exterior doors. If you’re dealing with a very large or persistent gap or very strong gusts, you may want a heavier-duty seal as a supplement.

Question 5

What about shipping, returns, and value for money?

Accepted Answer

Most buyers report straightforward shipping and good value for the price. If it doesn’t meet your needs, you can typically return it within the standard window for a refund. Check the seller’s policy at purchase for specifics.
