Question 1

I have a large, heavy TV (around 100lbs). Will this mount be sturdy enough, and what’s the deal with wall stud spacing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This mount is engineered to hold up to 132lbs, so a 100lb TV is well within its capacity. The key is your wall structure. It's designed to mount securely onto wood studs spaced at the standard 16 inches on-center. If your studs are wider apart (like 24"), the mounting plate may not span them, requiring additional reinforcement like a plywood backer. For ultimate peace of mind with heavy TVs on standard studs, this mount is a top choice—users consistently call it "rock solid."

Question 2

How far from the wall does the TV extend when pulled out, and is it easy to move?

Accepted Answer

The mount can extend the TV up to approximately 16 inches from the wall when fully articulated. It's crucial to measure your space to ensure you have enough clearance, especially in corners or tight rooms. On the plus side, the motion is famously smooth. As many YouTube reviewers show, you can easily swivel, tilt, and pull the TV with one hand, making it perfect for adjusting your viewing angle from different spots in the room.

Question 3

Is this truly a one-person installation, and how are the instructions?

Accepted Answer

While many users complete the installation solo, having a helper is recommended for larger, heavier TVs—safety first! The instructions are primarily visual diagrams. Most find them sufficient, but a common tip from Reddit discussions is to search for the model name on YouTube before you start. There are excellent step-by-step video tutorials that make the process crystal clear and ease any anxiety from the numerous (but comprehensive) parts in the box.

Question 4

I see some plastic parts. Does that affect the durability or safety?

Accepted Answer

The plastic components (like cable management clips and end caps) are non-load-bearing and do not affect the structural integrity or safety of the mount. All critical components that bear the TV's weight are constructed from high-grade steel. The plastic parts are for organization and aesthetics. While a few detail-oriented users note this, the overwhelming consensus from over 50,000 reviews confirms the long-term durability and reliability of the mount's core construction.

Question 5

What if it doesn’t fit my TV or I change my mind? What’s the return policy?

Accepted Answer

We recommend double-checking your TV's VESA pattern (the four holes on the back) and weight against the product specifications (VESA up to 600x400mm, 132lbs max). If you encounter any issues, please contact the seller or retailer (like Amazon) directly for their specific return and warranty process. They typically handle after-sales support. To avoid returns, measuring your TV, checking stud spacing, and watching an installation video are the best first steps.
