Question 1

Is this silicone oil truly universal and compatible with my treadmill?

Accepted Answer

While it works perfectly with the vast majority of home treadmills (brands like NordicTrack, ProForm, Sole, Horizon), "universal" has limits. The most common issue we see is from owners of machines requiring a wax-based lubricant or a specific proprietary formula. We strongly recommend checking your owner's manual first. If it calls for 100% silicone oil, this product is an excellent and cost-effective choice.

Question 2

How many bottles will I need, and is the included dropper easy to use?

Accepted Answer

One 250ml bottle is typically sufficient for 2-4 standard applications for a home treadmill. The included dropper with a cap is a huge hit—TikTok and Reddit users love it for its precision and lack of mess. Just apply a thin line along the deck under the belt as per your manual's instructions. The dosing marks on the dropper help you control the amount.

Question 3

What's the main difference between this and the lubricant sold by my treadmill's brand?

Accepted Answer

The primary differences are price and convenience. This is 100% pure silicone oil, which is often the exact same type specified. The branded kits are usually significantly more expensive and sometimes include cleaning wipes or a different applicator. Many reviews mention this Veddelholzer oil performs identically to the branded version, with the bonus dropper being a superior applicator.

Question 4

What if the oil doesn't work for my machine or I have an issue with my order?

Accepted Answer

If you confirm the oil is incompatible with your treadmill (e.g., your manual specifies a different type), please contact the seller directly through your order platform to discuss a solution. For rare issues like a leaky bottle upon arrival, they have resolved these promptly. We always advise confirming compatibility before purchase to ensure complete satisfaction.

Question 5

I'm new to treadmill maintenance. Is this product suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This product is highly recommended for first-time owners. The dropper makes application foolproof, and countless reviews from home gym beginners mention how easy it was to use. Just remember to: 1) Check your manual for the correct lubricant type, 2) Clean the deck first, and 3) Apply a small amount. You'll likely notice a smoother, quieter run immediately.
