Question 1

Can this stapler actually handle 20 sheets of paper as advertised?

Accepted Answer

Many users find it works best with up to 15 sheets of standard 20 lb copy paper. At the full 20-sheet capacity, you might notice staples bending or needing extra hand pressure. For thicker booklets, we’d recommend stapling in two passes or using a heavy-duty model.

Question 2

Does the long arm stay stable when stapling deep into a document?

Accepted Answer

Several Reddit and YouTube reviews note that the arm can wobble slightly under pressure. To keep staples straight, it helps to press firmly near the pivot point. If you’ll be binding large booklets frequently, a stapler with a reinforced arm (like Swingline’s long-reach models) might feel more solid.

Question 3

What type of staples does this stapler use, and are they included?

Accepted Answer

It uses standard 24/6 or 26/6 size staples—the same ones most office staplers take. The package includes 1000 staples to get you started, though some buyers have received fewer. If yours seems short, check that the box hasn’t been previously opened.

Question 4

I’ve heard about jamming issues—how common is this?

Accepted Answer

Jamming tends to happen most when the stapler is used near its 20-sheet limit or with paper that’s slightly crumpled. Cleaning the staple channel occasionally and not overfilling the magazine (it holds about 100 staples) reduces jams significantly. Many TikTok users have shared quick unjamming tips if you get stuck.

Question 5

Who is this stapler best suited for, and when should I consider a different model?

Accepted Answer

It’s a great pick for students, home office workers, or crafters who need to bind booklets, reports, or zines occasionally. If you’re a daily heavy user—say, assembling 20+ page proposals or running a print shop—you’ll likely get better long-term value from a full-metal stapler like the Bostitch B8 or Swingline LightTouch, which offer more consistent performance for a slightly higher price.
