Question 1

Is the 140 x 200 cm size for the duvet cover itself, or the duvet insert it fits?

Accepted Answer

The 140 x 200 cm measurement refers to the finished size of the duvet cover. It is designed to fit a standard single duvet insert of the same dimensions (140 x 200 cm). Many reviewers confirm it fits their standard single duvets perfectly.

Question 2

How soft is the material, and is it breathable for warmer sleepers?

Accepted Answer

The microfibre fabric is consistently praised for being exceptionally soft and comfortable, similar to high-thread-count cotton. In terms of breathability, it's lightweight and suitable for most climates. However, a small number of hot sleepers on social media have mentioned preferring natural fibers like cotton or bamboo for maximum airflow, so if you sleep very hot, you may want to consider that.

Question 3

Does the set come with one or two pillowcases? How durable is it after washing?

Accepted Answer

This set includes one pillowcase (65 x 65 cm). It's a common point of feedback, so do note you may need to purchase a second separately if you use two pillows. Regarding durability, most users report it holds up very well to machine washing, maintaining its softness and color without pilling. A few have noted the fabric is on the thinner side, so gentle cycle washing is recommended for long-term care.

Question 4

I see a zipper closure mentioned. Is it better than buttons?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the full-length zipper closure is a standout feature that reviewers love. It's highlighted as being more secure than buttons (so your duvet insert won't bunch up in a corner) and much easier to use, especially when changing the cover. It's a significant upgrade in convenience for most users.

Question 5

Who would you say this duvet cover is best suited for?

Accepted Answer

This cover is an excellent fit for anyone seeking ultra-soft, affordable, and low-maintenance bedding with a clean, modern look. It's particularly popular with students, renters, and parents (for kids' beds). If your priority is a heavy, crisp cotton feel or you exclusively use natural fibers, you might want to explore alternatives. But for softness and value, it's a highly-rated choice.
