Question 1

Will this privacy screen fit my 15.6 inch laptop?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily — "15.6 inch" refers to the screen diagonal (396.24 mm), not the width and height. This filter only fits 15.6 inch laptops with a 16:9 aspect ratio and an exact visible screen area of 344mm (width) x 194mm (height), so you should measure your screen excluding the black bezels before ordering.

Question 2

Does it block people from seeing my screen from directly behind me?

Accepted Answer

No. The listing states it does not block visibility behind you, and a reviewer confirmed it does not block the view from directly behind but works well against people sitting right next to you.

Question 3

How does it attach to the laptop, and does it stay on?

Accepted Answer

It offers two installation options: clear adhesive strips applied directly to the monitor, or sliding mount tabs on the frame so you can take the screen on and off. Some reviewers reported the adhesive stickers did not hold well and the screen peeled off, while another noted it does not stick without adhesives.

Question 4

Does it work with a touchscreen laptop?

Accepted Answer

No. The listing states it is not touchscreen compatible.

Question 5

Does it reduce glare or blue light?

Accepted Answer

The listing says it blocks 30% of blue light between 380-495nm to help relieve eye strain, and it has a glossy side and a matte anti-glare side. A reviewer noted the matte side has less reflection but slightly less privacy, while the stronger-privacy side has more reflection.
