Question 1

Will this kit fix long cracks or just small chips?

Accepted Answer

This kit is best suited for small, round chips and short cracks (under 2 inches). Many users from Reddit note that long hairline cracks or complex star-shaped damage rarely fully disappear—you’ll still see faint lines. For larger or branching cracks, a professional repair is usually more reliable.

Question 2

How much repair can I expect from the two bottles?

Accepted Answer

Each bottle contains about 5ml of resin, enough for roughly two to three small chips or one moderate crack. If you’re fixing multiple larger damages, you may run out quickly. A common tip from TikTok reviewers is to buy an extra kit for bigger jobs or keep the second bottle as backup.

Question 3

Does it work without direct sunlight for curing?

Accepted Answer

The resin hardens best under strong UV light—direct sunlight is ideal. Many users in cloudy or rainy climates report that the repair stayed tacky or never fully set. If you’re in low-sun conditions, consider using a UV flashlight (not included) to get a solid cure.

Question 4

Is this kit easy to use for someone who has never repaired a windshield before?

Accepted Answer

It’s beginner-friendly for simple chips but the instructions are brief. Several YouTube videos show that you need to apply steady pressure with the syringe and scrape off excess resin while it’s still soft. First-timers should watch a quick tutorial to avoid bubbles or incomplete filling.

Question 5

What should I do if the kit doesn’t work or arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

For missing parts or damaged items, contact the seller within 30 days for a replacement or refund. Note that repair results depend on crack type and weather, so many sellers request photos before processing returns. To keep your windshield safe, avoid driving through heavy rain for 24 hours after repair.
