Question 1

What's the real-world battery life when using the translation feature, and can I use them while charging?

Accepted Answer

While the earbuds offer excellent battery for music, using the real-time translation mode is more power-intensive. Most users report getting 3-4 hours of continuous translation use on a single charge. For longer sessions, the compact charging case provides additional charges. Unfortunately, you cannot use the earbuds for translation while they are physically charging in the case.

Question 2

Do I need an internet connection for the translation to work, and how well do they handle accents or fast speech?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a stable internet connection (via your phone's mobile data or Wi-Fi) is required for the AI translation to function. For clear, moderately-paced speech, accuracy is highly praised by travelers and business users. However, as noted in some YouTube reviews, very strong regional accents, rapid conversation, or heavy background noise can sometimes reduce accuracy. For best results, speak in clear, concise sentences.

Question 3

How secure is the fit, especially for smaller ears or active use?

Accepted Answer

The open-ear, stem-style design is celebrated by many for all-day comfort. However, fit is personal. Some users with smaller ears have mentioned they can feel loose during brisk walking or if you have a lot of facial movement. They come with multiple ear tip sizes—we recommend trying different combinations for the best fit. Remember, as open-ear buds, they are designed to let in ambient sound for situational awareness, not to create a tight seal.

Question 4

Can I use a single earbud for translation, or are both required?

Accepted Answer

You can absolutely use a single earbud for translation! This is a popular feature for one-on-one conversations. One person wears one earbud speaking Language A, while the other person wears the second earbud hearing Language B. The app facilitates the conversation seamlessly. You can also use just one if you're the only person in the conversation who needs translation assistance.

Question 5

Who are these earbuds NOT ideal for?

Accepted Answer

These are a fantastic tool for cross-language communication, but they might not be the best choice if your primary need is immersive music listening with noise cancellation, or if you frequently travel to areas with very poor internet coverage. They are also not a replacement for professional human interpreters for high-stakes, nuanced discussions. Think of them as your brilliant, tech-powered companion for breaking down everyday language barriers.
