Question 1

Is this power bank actually small enough for travel, or is it too bulky for a carry-on?

Accepted Answer

Many travelers on TikTok and Reddit agree—it’s reliable, but not pocket-sized. At roughly the size of a thick paperback, it’s best for suitcases, backpacks, or totes. It fits airline carry-on limits (under 100Wh) and is TSA-approved. If you need something for a fanny pack or slim purse, consider Anker’s smaller 10,000mAh models.

Question 2

Can I fast-charge my laptop with this, and does it work with non-Apple devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes for MacBook Air/Pro—users report 50% charge in about 30 minutes. For Android laptops (Dell, Lenovo, HP), results vary. Some models only charge at standard speed due to different power delivery protocols. Check your laptop’s specific wattage requirements before buying. The 87W max is only available when using the USB-C port alone; charging multiple devices reduces speed.

Question 3

Is the built-in USB-C cable durable, and can it be replaced if it breaks?

Accepted Answer

The cable is sturdy enough for regular use, but some users on YouTube warn it may fray over time if bent aggressively. It is not removable, so damage means losing that port. For peace of mind, handle it gently and consider a short extension cable if you need more reach. Anker’s 18-month warranty covers defects, but not wear and tear.

Question 4

How long does it take to recharge the power bank itself, and do I need extra accessories?

Accepted Answer

Recharging the power bank from empty takes about 3–4 hours with a 45W+ USB-C charger (not included). Many buyers were surprised by this, so factor in the cost of a wall adapter if you don’t already own one. The built-in cable is fairly short (about 1.5 feet), so you may want a longer cable for convenient recharging.

Question 5

Is this the best value for the price, or are there better alternatives?

Accepted Answer

For most Apple users and frequent flyers, it’s excellent value—great capacity, reliable brand, and the built-in cable is a game changer. However, if you need a lighter option or faster laptop charging, the Anker 737 (PowerCore 24K) offers a digital display and higher throughput. Budget-conscious buyers also recommend the Baseus 65W or INIU 20K as cheaper alternatives that include wall adapters and longer cables.
