Question 1

How comfortable is the mouse for small hands and claw grip?

Accepted Answer

Many claw-grip users on TikTok and Reddit say the SC580 feels lightweight and nimble, with a compact egg-like shape that suits small-to-medium hands. However, palm-grip users with larger hands sometimes find it cramped. If you’re a lefty, note this is a right-handed design — check our left-handed alternatives if needed.

Question 2

How long does the battery actually last with the RGB lighting on?

Accepted Answer

In real-world use, most owners report around 2–3 days of moderate gaming with RGB enabled, versus the 5 days some hoped for. Turning off the lights can stretch battery life to 7–10 days. The mouse charges fully in about two hours via USB-C and works normally while plugged in.

Question 3

I’ve heard the software can be buggy — does this affect everyday use?

Accepted Answer

A few YouTube reviewers noted that the configuration software may lose custom button assignments after restarting the PC. For basic DPI switching and polling rate changes, the onboard memory works fine without software. If you rely heavily on macros, consider saving your profile often or checking the latest software update.

Question 4

How well does the 12,000 DPI sensor hold up for competitive gaming?

Accepted Answer

While the 12,000 DPI setting is listed, owners on gaming forums have flagged jittery tracking at the highest levels. For precise gameplay we recommend sticking to 1,600–6,400 DPI, where the sensor feels smooth. If you need a flawless high-DPI experience, you may want to compare this with models like the Logitech G305.

Question 5

Can I get a refund if the mouse starts creaking within the first month?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the product has a 30-day return window for defects like creaky buttons or connectivity issues. A few Reddit users mentioned that reaching support via Amazon chat is the fastest route. We recommend testing the build within the first week. For long-term peace of mind, consider purchasing an extended warranty at checkout.
