Question 1

How effective is the shallow-area cleaning feature on steps and pool ledges?

Accepted Answer

The Sora 30 is designed to clean flat, shallow pool floors down to a few inches of water. However, based on user discussions, it may struggle on narrow steps or contoured ledges. For best results, we recommend using it on open shallow areas and manually spot-cleaning tight corners or steep steps.

Question 2

Is the 6800GPH suction power consistent with real-world performance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 6800 GPH rating is the pump’s peak flow rate under optimal conditions. Many TikTok and YouTube users confirm strong pickup of leaves and coarse debris. However, performance can vary with pool size, filter condition, and debris type—finer silt or sand may require running multiple cycles for thorough cleaning.

Question 3

What is the return and warranty policy for this pool vacuum?

Accepted Answer

The Beatbot Sora 30 typically comes with a standard 1-year limited warranty and a 30-day return window from authorized sellers. Some online buyers have noted that customer support response times can be slow, so we recommend checking the seller’s return policy and saving your receipt. For peace of mind, consider purchasing through a retailer with a no-hassle return guarantee.

Question 4

Is this robot suitable for saltwater pools and pools with vinyl liners?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Sora 30 is built to handle saltwater pools and is safe for vinyl, fiberglass, and concrete surfaces. Reddit users have reported no issues with corrosion or liner damage when used as directed. Just remember to rinse the unit after saltwater use to extend its lifespan.

Question 5

How does the Beatbot Sora 30 compare to other pool cleaners in its price range, like the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus?

Accepted Answer

The Sora 30 offers stronger suction (6800 GPH) and a larger 5L debris capacity than many competitors. However, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus is often praised for better wall-climbing, scrubbing brushes, and a more established support network. If wall-cleaning and waterline scrubbing are priorities, the Dolphin may be a better fit. For raw power and bin capacity, the Sora 30 stands out.
