Question 1

Are these pillow covers a true 20x20 inch fit, or should I use a smaller insert?

Accepted Answer

They are designed for standard 20x20 inch inserts. The fabric is a durable, non-stretch cotton, so some users find the fit snug. For the easiest experience, we recommend using a firm 20x20 insert or a slightly smaller 19x19 insert if you have one handy. A quick steam or iron after unpacking can also help smooth the fabric for a perfect fit.

Question 2

How soft is the fabric? Is it suitable for a couch we use every day?

Accepted Answer

The fabric is a high-quality, medium-weight cotton chosen for its durability and crisp look, which is key to the vintage boho aesthetic. It's not a plush, fleece-like material. Out of the package, it has a sturdy, rustic feel that softens naturally with use and washing. It's absolutely designed for daily use on sofas and chairs—it's built to last and maintain its structure.

Question 3

I've seen comments about care. Will the colors bleed, and how should I wash them?

Accepted Answer

To ensure the vibrant print lasts, we recommend washing the covers separately in cold water on a gentle cycle for their first wash. While the dyes are colorfast, this initial precaution is a best practice. Tumble dry on low or line dry. Many happy customers on platforms like TikTok have shared that this method keeps their covers looking bright and prevents any potential color transfer.

Question 4

How accurate are the colors compared to the product photos online?

Accepted Answer

We strive for photo accuracy! The overwhelming feedback in reviews is that the prints are vibrant and true-to-image. The colors are intentionally rich to achieve that vintage floral look. Keep in mind that screen settings can vary, and the natural, unbleached cotton base gives the colors a slightly muted, authentic tone compared to a bright white background.

Question 5

Who would these pillow covers be the perfect fit for?

Accepted Answer

These covers are a hit for anyone looking to add a punch of vintage, boho, or farmhouse character to their space—think sofa refreshers, gift-givers, or renters. They're ideal if you value durable construction and artistic design over a super-soft, chenille-like feel. If your goal is decorative impact with a rustic charm, you'll likely love them. For those primarily seeking ultra-plush comfort, a velvet or sherpa cover might be a better match.
