Question 1

Is this cable made with pure copper or Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA)?

Accepted Answer

This cable uses Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) conductors. It's a cost-effective choice that provides excellent performance for typical home and gaming use, as noted in many positive reviews. However, if your project requires strict adherence to pure copper standards (like some professional installations or very long runs over 150ft), you may want to look for a 100% copper (UTP or STP) alternative.

Question 2

How flexible is it for indoor use? Will the connectors fit in tight spaces?

Accepted Answer

The cable is built with a very thick, protective jacket for outdoor durability, which does make it stiffer than standard indoor cables. As several users on Reddit have mentioned, it can be challenging to route through tight corners. The shielded RJ45 connectors are also quite large, so if your router or switch has ports very close together, you might not be able to use adjacent ports.

Question 3

Is it truly suitable for direct burial outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. This is where the cable shines. It's designed specifically for outdoor use with a waterproof, UV-resistant jacket that is safe for direct burial. Many DIY users have successfully used it to run internet to sheds, garages, and across yards without any issues from the elements.

Question 4

I'm just connecting my router to my PC in the next room. Is this overkill?

Accepted Answer

For a simple, short indoor run, this cable is likely more than you need. Its heavy-duty, shielded design is best utilized for long distances, outdoor exposure, or areas with potential electrical interference. For basic indoor use, a shorter, more flexible, and potentially less expensive Cat6 cable would be perfectly suitable and easier to manage.

Question 5

What's your return policy if the cable doesn't work for my setup?

Accepted Answer

We stand by the quality of our cables. If you encounter any defects in materials or workmanship, please contact our customer support team for a hassle-free return or replacement. We recommend checking the connector size and cable stiffness concerns mentioned in other reviews to ensure it's the right fit for your specific installation before finalizing your purchase.
