Question 1

Does this sunscreen leave a white cast?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states it uses iron oxides for a sheer, flexible tint to offset the white-cast typically associated with mineral sunscreens, and reviewers confirm the tint helps cancel out the typical white cast from zinc oxide, leaving a neutral finish.

Question 2

Is this product greasy or heavy on the skin?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers describe the texture as lightweight, creamy, and non-greasy, and the manufacturer lists the formula as non-greasy and oil-free.

Question 3

Can this be worn under makeup or as a makeup replacement?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer says it can be worn alone or under makeup as a tinted primer with SPF 30, and one reviewer said it replaced their Lancome foundation worn for 30 years.

Question 4

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states it is allergy tested, fragrance-free, and gentle on skin, and one reviewer with sensitive skin reported the formula felt very gentle with no irritation.

Question 5

What sunscreen filters does this use?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states it uses 100% mineral filters, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, and does not contain oxybenzone or avobenzone.
