Question 1

Do these gloves actually protect against live voltage?

Accepted Answer

The listing states a max use voltage of 1000V and a 5000V proof test voltage, and one reviewer said they are ASTM D120 certified to withstand up to 1000V. Reviewers reported working safely around 220–240V and a 60-amp live breaker box.

Question 2

How does the sizing run?

Accepted Answer

One reviewer found the Large very small, saying it fit a large woman's hand but not a large man's hand and suggesting XXL for those who normally wear a large. Other reviewers said the size seemed accurate and the fit was good.

Question 3

Are these gloves comfortable and do they allow you to handle small parts?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers described them as comfortable with a sturdiness that still allows dexterity, and one said they let you work with smaller parts. Note that coated gloves don't breathe, so hands can get sweaty quickly.

Question 4

Do the gloves have a smell?

Accepted Answer

One reviewer reported a strong cheesy or moldy odor that transferred to their hands and lingered even after washing. Other than the odor, that reviewer said the gloves worked well.

Question 5

What material are the gloves and how should I care for them?

Accepted Answer

The listing describes rubber palms and fingers with a dipped rubber back, nylon fabric, and constricted cuffs. Care instructions are machine wash cold on gentle cycle, avoid extreme heat or sharp objects, and air dry.
