Question 1

Will this mount fit my 85" or 90" TV? How do I check VESA compatibility?

Accepted Answer

This mount supports VESA patterns up to 800x400mm, which covers most 85" and 90" TVs. However, some Samsung and LG models with VESA patterns over 800mm wide or with offset holes may not align. To be sure, measure the distance between the mounting holes on your TV (both horizontally and vertically) and compare. If you find the bracket arms are slightly short, the included adapter brackets help with certain non-standard patterns. Many TikTok DIYers recommend double-checking your TV’s manual before buying.

Question 2

Can someone install this alone? I’m not a professional.

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—this mount is designed for confident DIYers. The package includes a bubble level, drill bit guide, and clearly labeled hardware bags. The handles actually help you lift and adjust the TV single-handedly. Just note: you’ll need to locate two wooden studs spaced 16 inches apart. If your wall uses metal studs or concrete, you’ll need different anchors (not included). Most reviewers say the whole process takes under an hour with a friend for the lifting part.

Question 3

How far does the TV sit from the wall when flat? Will handles make it stick out?

Accepted Answer

When fully pushed back, the TV sits about 2.5 inches from the wall—slightly more than ultra-slim mounts because of the built-in handles. The handles themselves protrude about 1.5 inches from the back of the TV. If you’re aiming for a gallery-style flush look, this mount gives a clean but not paper-thin profile. For most living rooms, it looks neat, but some Reddit users with corner setups noted they wanted a flatter option.

Question 4

Is the mount durable enough for a heavy 90-inch OLED TV?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this mount is rated for TVs up to 125 pounds, which covers virtually all 90" models. The steel frame is solid, and the articulating arms lock securely. The only point of caution: the arm end caps are high-impact plastic, not metal. While they don’t bear structural weight, a few YouTube reviewers wished for all-metal construction at this price point. For typical use, durability is excellent—users report no sagging or loosening over months of daily tilting.

Question 5

What if it doesn’t fit my TV or I change my mind—how does the return work?

Accepted Answer

ECHOGEAR offers a 30-day return window from the delivery date, with free return shipping on most orders if the mount is unused and in the original packaging. If you started installation and realized it’s the wrong size, you’ll need to contact customer service—they often offer replacements or partial refunds. The response time can be 1–3 business days (a common frustration mentioned on Reddit), so email them early if you’re unsure. For peace of mind, their warranty covers defects for the lifetime of the product.
