Question 1

Does the Faraday pouch actually block the key fob signal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Multiple reviewers tested it by standing right next to their car with the fob inside the pouch and found the doors would not unlock, and one noted the car could not be locked, unlocked, or started while the fob was inside. One reviewer, however, reported that after two years the pouch failed to block the signal.

Question 2

How many pouches come in the package?

Accepted Answer

The package includes 2 medium Faraday bags, so you can protect a spare key fob or keys for multiple vehicles in your household.

Question 3

Is the pouch big enough to fit a car key fob?

Accepted Answer

It fits a key fob, though some reviewers found it tight and had to shove the fob in, so checking the dimensions is advised. One reviewer also noted a car key plus immobilizer fob fit but not as easily as expected.

Question 4

What materials is the pouch made of?

Accepted Answer

The outer layer is premium carbon fiber textured material that is waterproof and stylish, and the inner layer is double military-grade RF shielding cloth with a fully wrapped design for stronger signal isolation.

Question 5

Can the pouch be used for anything besides car keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It can also hold a smartwatch, credit cards, ID cards, and bank cards to prevent RFID scanners from reading them, and a phone placed inside will be disconnected and blocked from GPS tracking.
