Question 1

Is the rug truly non-slip on hard floors like hardwood or tile?

Accepted Answer

The rug has a textured, non-slip backing that provides good stability on most surfaces. However, based on user experiences, on very smooth floors like polished hardwood or tile, some minor movement can occur, especially in high-traffic areas. For complete peace of mind and safety, many Reddit users recommend using a separate rug gripper pad underneath, which solves this perfectly.

Question 2

It looks thin in some reviews. Is it comfortable and soft, or just a flat mat?

Accepted Answer

This is a key point! The rug is a low-pile design, which makes it lightweight and machine-washable. While it's not a thick, plush shag rug, the vast majority of reviewers are delighted by how soft it feels underfoot. It provides comfortable cushioning for daily use but is designed for easy care over deep luxury. If you prioritize a squishy feel, you might want a thicker style.

Question 3

How do I deal with the deep wrinkles when it first arrives?

Accepted Answer

It's completely normal for the rug to arrive tightly rolled with creases. The easiest fix is to simply unroll it and let it lay flat for 24-48 hours—the weight will help it settle. For faster results, you can roll it backwards or place heavy books along the edges. Please avoid using direct heat like an iron. As many TikTok users have shown, the wrinkles smooth out beautifully with a little patience.

Question 4

Can I really machine-wash it without ruining it?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This is one of its most loved features. Follow the care label: use cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, and air dry only (no dryer). We recommend washing it alone for its first wash. Users report it comes out looking fresh and vibrant, with minimal to no shrinkage when air-dried. It's a lifesaver for pet accidents, spills, or just seasonal freshening up.

Question 5

Is the 'Royal Blue' color accurate to the product photos?

Accepted Answer

The color is a vibrant, modern blue that most customers find stunning. However, monitor calibration and room lighting can cause slight perception differences. Some users in north-facing rooms note it can appear brighter or more "electric" than a deep royal. If you're looking for a darker, navy blue, this might be brighter than expected. Checking customer-uploaded photos in reviews is the best way to gauge the real-life color.
