Question 1

Will these 8mm double vent domes fit my specific Oticon hearing aid model?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they are designed to be universal replacements for Oticon hearing aids that use the "Minifit" receiver/speaker wire, which includes most popular models like the Oticon Opn, More, Real, and Ruby families. The 8mm refers to the dome's diameter and is the standard size for adult fittings. If you're unsure, check your current dome or consult your hearing care professional.

Question 2

How durable are these replacement domes? What's the typical lifespan?

Accepted Answer

Based on user feedback, these domes offer good value but are considered a consumable part. Most users find they last 2-4 weeks with daily use, which is standard for silicone domes. Their soft material provides great comfort but can be prone to tearing if handled roughly. Many TikTok and Reddit users recommend having a spare pack on hand for convenient replacement.

Question 3

I see "2 Packs" in the title. How many individual domes do I actually receive?

Accepted Answer

You will receive one pair of domes (Left and Right), with each dome individually sealed in its own blister pack (2 packs total). This hygienic packaging helps keep them clean. We've updated our listing description for clarity, as some customers initially expected two pairs.

Question 4

Are these domes comfortable for all-day wear, especially for sensitive ears?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The double vent design is a top-mentioned benefit in reviews for improving airflow and reducing that "blocked" or occluded feeling in the ear canal. They are made from soft, medical-grade silicone, and many users with sensitivity praise their comfort for extended wear. The vents also help minimize moisture buildup.

Question 5

What if they don't fit my hearing aid or I'm not satisfied with them?

Accepted Answer

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We offer a straightforward return and refund policy if the domes are incompatible or don't meet your expectations. Please contact our customer support team with your order details. Please note that for hygiene reasons, opened/used domes cannot be resold, but we will work with you to find a solution, which often includes guidance on fit or alternative dome types.
