Question 1

I'm a complete beginner with no experience in bedazzling. Is this kit suitable for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This is the #1 kit recommended for beginners across social media. Users on TikTok and YouTube love that it includes literally everything you need to start—tool, stand, stones, pearls, stencils, and accessories—in one box. The manual is straightforward, and many first-timers are surprised by how professional their results look on the very first try.

Question 2

How well do the rhinestones hold up after washing? Will they fall off?

Accepted Answer

When applied correctly following the instructions, the adhesion is very strong. The majority of reviewers report the stones staying firmly in place through multiple machine washes (gentle cycle recommended) and even tumble drying on low heat. The key is ensuring the tool is fully heated and applying firm, even pressure for a few seconds on each stone.

Question 3

What materials can I NOT use this hotfix tool on?

Accepted Answer

This tool works excellently on natural fabrics (cotton, denim, leather) and many synthetics. However, you should avoid using it on thin, delicate synthetics like nylon or polyester that can melt or scorch from the heat, as well as on plastic or vinyl. A common tip from Reddit users is to always test on a hidden seam or scrap piece of your material first.

Question 4

I've seen comments about the tool turning off by itself. Is there an issue?

Accepted Answer

The tool has a built-in auto-shutoff safety feature to prevent overheating. During longer crafting sessions (15-20 minutes of continuous use), it may activate, requiring a brief cool-down period before restarting. This is normal for this type of hobbyist tool. For occasional or project-based use, it's rarely an issue, but it's something to note if you plan on marathon bedazzling sessions.

Question 5

Is this good value for money, or am I just paying for a huge number of tiny stones?

Accepted Answer

The consensus from over 2,600 reviews is that it offers exceptional value. While the 10,000+ count includes a range of sizes (including many small ones), you're primarily paying for the complete kit experience. Compared to buying the bedazzler, stand, six tips, tray, stencils, and a large variety of stones & pearls separately, this bundle saves significant money and hassle. It's perfect for exploring the craft, though serious crafters may later invest in specific stone types or professional-grade tools.
