Question 1

Do alignment sticks come with the KELOB holder, or do I need to buy them separately?

Accepted Answer

The holder ships with the metal base and threaded connectors only — alignment sticks are sold separately. This is one of the most common pre-purchase questions, and a few buyers on Reddit mentioned feeling caught off guard, so it's worth confirming before you order. Standard 48-inch fiberglass or driveway-marker sticks fit the connectors just fine.

Question 2

How stable is the metal base, and does the angle adjustment stay put during swings?

Accepted Answer

On grass, most users find the base solid and the angle holds well. On firm hitting mats or uneven ground, though, a few golfers report some rocking, and the friction-based angle can shift after a fat shot. If you practice mostly indoors, consider weighting the base or switching to turf.

Question 3

Is this a good training aid for beginners, or is it aimed at experienced golfers?

Accepted Answer

It's best suited to golfers who already know basic alignment drills and want a more convenient, adjustable setup. Beginners often expect step-by-step guidance, but the included instructions are minimal — many turn to YouTube for putting-gate and swing-plane drills. If you're brand new, pair it with a lesson or two.

Question 4

How durable are the threaded connectors, and what happens if something strips or breaks?

Accepted Answer

The metal threads are a step up from plastic holders and generally hold up well with normal use. That said, over-tightening can wear the threads, and a handful of users noted joints loosening mid-session. Check the seller's return and warranty window before buying so you're covered if anything fails early.

Question 5

Is it worth the money compared to just sticking alignment sticks in the ground?

Accepted Answer

If you practice often and want repeatable angles for putting, full swing, and posture work, most buyers say yes — the metal build and portability justify the price. If you only practice occasionally, a pair of driveway markers stuck in the turf will get you most of the way there for a fraction of the cost.
