Question 1

Are these plates truly oven-safe, and can I take them from the freezer to the oven?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! These glass plates are designed for versatility. They are oven-safe and can handle the thermal shock of going from a freezer to a preheated oven (and vice-versa), which is perfect for making ahead and baking frozen pies. As many home bakers on social media have noted, just remember the handles will be hot—always use oven mitts.

Question 2

How does the size and quality compare to more expensive brands like Pyrex?

Accepted Answer

The plates are a standard 9-inch diameter, ideal for pies and personal-sized servings. While Pyrex is a great brand, reviewers consistently mention that Kingrol plates are surprisingly thick and sturdy for the price, with the added bonus of built-in handles that many classic designs lack. They offer fantastic value, especially as a 3-pack.

Question 3

I've seen comments about breakage. How durable are they, and what if they arrive damaged?

Accepted Answer

The glass is robust, but like all glassware, it requires careful handling. Most breakage reports are related to shipping, not daily use. We package them securely, but if any plate arrives damaged, please contact our customer support immediately for a free replacement or refund—no hassle.

Question 4

Are they really easy to clean and dishwasher safe?

Accepted Answer

This is one of the top praises from users! The smooth, non-porous glass makes cleanup a breeze. They are fully dishwasher safe (top rack recommended for longevity), and their simple design means no corners for food to get stuck in. TikTok creators especially love them for no-fuss meal prep cleanup.

Question 5

Who would get the most use out of this 3-pack set?

Accepted Answer

This set is a hit with home bakers (for pies and desserts), meal-preppers (for salads and single-serving dishes), and anyone who loves to entertain. The three plates allow you to bake, serve, and store all at once. If you primarily need very large casserole dishes for big family dinners, you might want a larger size, but for versatility and value, this set is highly recommended.
