Question 1

Will this charger fit securely in my car's 12V outlet, especially if it's a bit worn or loose?

Accepted Answer

The LISEN charger is praised for its compact, low-profile design. However, its minimalist size means it may not fit as snugly in older or very worn outlets. Many Reddit users suggest if your car's port is loose, a charger with a longer barrel or a grippy rubberized design might be a more secure choice for bumpy roads.

Question 2

Does it come with any charging cables, and what cables do I need for maximum fast charging?

Accepted Answer

No, this charger does not include any cables. To achieve the advertised 69W fast charging, you must use high-quality, compatible cables. For best results with iPhones (14/15/16/17 Pro Max) and modern Android phones, use certified USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to Lightning cables that support Power Delivery (PD). As noted in many reviews, cable quality directly impacts performance.

Question 3

I need to charge two devices at once. How is the 69W power distributed between the two USB-C ports?

Accepted Answer

The total output is 69W, but it's dynamically shared between the two ports. Typically, if you plug in one device, it can receive the full power for fastest charging. When two devices are connected, the power splits (e.g., 45W for one, 24W for the other), which is still very fast for most phones. It's perfect for two smartphones, but not designed for simultaneously fast-charging a laptop and a tablet.

Question 4

Is the build quality durable, and what happens if it stops working?

Accepted Answer

Over 14,600 reviews highlight the sturdy, all-metal construction as a major plus, feeling much more durable than plastic chargers. While the vast majority report excellent longevity, a small number of users have mentioned it failed after several months. We recommend purchasing from authorized sellers who honor the manufacturer's warranty for peace of mind.

Question 5

Who is this charger the best fit for, and who might want to look at an alternative?

Accepted Answer

This charger is an excellent fit for: Commuters with newer cars who want a sleek, space-saving design; owners of recent iPhone & Android models with good cables; and gift-givers seeking a practical, well-packaged accessory. You might consider an alternative if: you have an older vehicle with a very loose 12V port, need to charge high-wattage devices like laptops regularly, or prefer a brand known for a longer included warranty. Brands like Anker are often cited by tech enthusiasts for these specific cases.
