Question 1

Do these patches actually work on dark circles, or are they mainly for puffiness?

Accepted Answer

Based on extensive user feedback, these patches are most celebrated for their immediate and effective reduction of puffiness and bags, especially when chilled. While they provide excellent hydration which can make the under-eye area appear brighter and smoother, many users report that significant dark circles caused by genetics or pigmentation see limited improvement. For those primarily targeting dark circles, a dedicated brightening serum might be a better companion or alternative.

Question 2

I have sensitive skin and wear contact lenses. Are these safe and comfortable to use?

Accepted Answer

The hydrogel material is generally very comfortable and cooling. However, a small number of users with sensitive skin have reported mild tingling or redness. We strongly recommend doing a patch test on your arm before using them under your eyes. The serum should not directly contact lenses, but as a precaution, many users on social media suggest applying the patches before inserting your lenses or while preparing for bed.

Question 3

How do you open the jar, and how should I store the patches to keep them from drying out?

Accepted Answer

This is a common point mentioned in reviews! The seal can be quite tight. The safest method is to firmly press down on the lid while turning to break the initial seal. Once open, ensure the inner protective film is intact and reseal the jar tightly after each use. Storing the jar in the refrigerator is a popular tip—it enhances the depuffing effect and helps maintain the patches' freshness and gel consistency.

Question 4

Can I move around while wearing these, or do I need to lie down?

Accepted Answer

For the best fit and to prevent slippage, it's ideal to remain reclined or seated upright with minimal facial movement during the 15-20 minute application. As several TikTok users have humorously demonstrated, vigorous movement can cause the patches to slide. They adhere well to stationary skin, making them perfect for a relaxing morning or evening routine while you read or listen to a podcast.

Question 5

Is the "24k Gold" a significant feature, or is it more about the gel formula?

Accepted Answer

The gold flakes are a visual feature, but the primary benefits come from the hydrating and cooling hydrogel formula. Most reviewers love the patches for the refreshing sensation and depuffing results, not the presence of gold. Think of it as an effective, budget-friendly hydrogel treatment—if you're seeking a heavy, luxurious cream or solid gold sheet mask experience, this has a different, lightweight texture.
