Question 1

I have sensitive skin. Is this peeling solution safe for me to use?

Accepted Answer

This is a potent exfoliant with 32% acids. While many with oily or resilient skin see great results, we consistently hear from users with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin that it can be too intense. We strongly recommend a patch test behind the ear for 5 minutes first. If you're new to acids or have known sensitivity, starting with a gentler, single-acid product might be a better fit.

Question 2

How often should I use this, and can I layer it with my retinol?

Accepted Answer

Start slow! The "Weekend Facial" name is a key clue—most users find success using it just 1-2 times per week, max. Do not use it on the same night as retinol, tretinoin, or other strong actives. A common routine is to use the peel on a Sunday, skip actives Monday, and resume your retinol Tuesday. This prevents over-exfoliation and the dryness many TikTok users mention.

Question 3

I'm concerned about the 1 oz size. How long does a bottle typically last?

Accepted Answer

With recommended, conservative use (1-2 times weekly, using just enough to coat the face), one bottle lasts most users 2-3 months. A little goes a long way. While some Reddit users wish the bottle was larger, the concentrated formula and low frequency of use mean it offers good value over time compared to daily exfoliants.

Question 4

Will this help with deep wrinkles and acne scars?

Accepted Answer

This solution is excellent for improving surface-level texture, glow, and the appearance of pores and mild acne marks. However, based on customer feedback, those with deeper-set wrinkles or atrophic (indented) scars often find its effects limited for those specific concerns. It provides a fantastic refined canvas, but deeper issues may require specialized treatments like prescription retinoids or professional procedures.

Question 5

How does this compare to other popular acid peels, like The Ordinary's?

Accepted Answer

Our formula combines AHA (surface exfoliation), BHA (pore-cleaning), and PHA (gentler hydration), aiming for a multi-action approach. The Ordinary's famous red peel is 30% AHA and 2% BHA. Ours has a slightly different acid blend that includes the gentler PHA, which some users find makes the sensation more tolerable while still delivering the "glow." The best choice depends on your skin's tolerance and whether you want the added PHA benefit.
