Question 1

I have thick carpet. Will the wheels roll smoothly and lock securely?

Accepted Answer

The locking wheels work very well on hard floors and low-pile carpet. However, based on user feedback, rolling on very thick, plush carpet can require more effort. The locks will still prevent rolling, but if your primary surface is deep carpet, you may find mobility slightly reduced compared to hard floors.

Question 2

How difficult is assembly, and is it a one-person job?

Accepted Answer

Most reviewers found assembly straightforward, taking 30-45 minutes. The instructions are pictorial, which some find tricky at first glance. While it's possible to assemble alone, having a second person makes aligning the main frame and lifting the TV onto the cart much easier and safer—a common tip from DIYers on YouTube.

Question 3

Is the included power outlet surge-protected?

Accepted Answer

No, the integrated power outlet is a standard 3-prong outlet (with a 15A/125V/1875W rating) and does not include surge protection. For expensive electronics, we—and many tech-savvy users on forums—recommend plugging a quality surge protector into the cart's outlet, then plugging your TV and devices into that for added safety.

Question 4

My TV is 70 inches and has a unique VESA pattern. Will it fit securely?

Accepted Answer

The VESA plate supports patterns up to 600x400mm, which covers most TVs up to 75 inches. However, a few users with very large, newer models noted the plate's adjustment range required careful centering. We strongly recommend double-checking your TV's exact VESA pattern (in its manual) against the max 600x400mm spec to ensure a perfect fit.

Question 5

Who is this cart really best for, and who might want to look elsewhere?

Accepted Answer

This cart is a hit for renters, people in open-plan spaces, and anyone who values flexible TV placement. It's perfect if you move your TV between rooms or need to adjust the angle frequently. If your TV will live permanently on a thick shag rug, or if you have an exceptionally heavy, non-standard TV pushing the 130lb limit, you might want to explore alternatives with larger wheels or a fixed, heavy-duty stand.
