Question 1

I have fair skin and light hair—will the Flasher Pro work for me?

Accepted Answer

IPL technology targets melanin pigment, so it’s most effective when there’s strong contrast between your skin and hair color. Light or blond hair may see slower or minimal results. Many TikTok users found it works best on dark, coarse hair, so we recommend checking your hair color against our compatibility guide before buying.

Question 2

How long until I see permanent hair reduction, and do I need to keep using it?

Accepted Answer

Most users notice visible reduction after 2–3 weeks of weekly use. Permanent results typically appear after 8–12 sessions, but occasional maintenance treatments every few months help keep areas smooth. The device comes with an unlimited flash count, so you won’t need refill cartridges.

Question 3

Is it actually pain-free, and can I use it on my bikini area or face?

Accepted Answer

The cooling sapphire tip minimizes discomfort, and the majority of reviews describe it as “barely noticeable” or “mild warmth.” For sensitive areas like the bikini line or underarms, start on the lowest intensity. It is safe for use on the face below the cheekbones (avoid the eye area), but not recommended for the upper lip if you have darker skin or hormonal hair growth.

Question 4

What’s the return policy if I’m not satisfied with the results?

Accepted Answer

Nood offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, provided the device is returned in like-new condition. Keep in mind, visible results usually require consistent use over several weeks, so we advise giving it at least 4–6 weeks before deciding.

Question 5

How does this compare to professional laser treatments or other at-home IPL devices?

Accepted Answer

The Flasher Pro is designed for convenience and cost savings—a fraction of salon prices. While professional diode lasers can be more powerful and faster for coarse hair, many Reddit users praise the Flasher Pro as one of the gentler at-home options with excellent customer support. For longer sessions, some prefer corded alternatives, but the cordless design makes it easy to use while watching TV or traveling.
