Question 1

How long do the OIVO rechargeable batteries last on a full charge for heavy gaming?

Accepted Answer

Most users report around 6–8 hours of continuous gameplay per charge, though actual performance varies based on controller features (like vibration) and battery age. If you’re a marathon gamer, you might want to rotate between two sets to avoid downtime.

Question 2

Do these batteries work with all Xbox controllers, including the Elite series?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they’re compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S|X, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Elite controllers. Just confirm your controller uses a standard battery compartment – the packs slide directly in without modification.

Question 3

I’ve heard the charging dock can be finicky. How do I make sure it charges properly?

Accepted Answer

The dock uses contact pins, so ensure the battery packs are seated flush with the charging cradle. Many TikTok users suggest pressing down gently until the LED lights turn red. If your batteries aren’t charging, double-check the alignment and wipe the contacts with a dry cloth.

Question 4

What’s the warranty if a battery stops working after a few months?

Accepted Answer

OIVO offers a 30-day return window and a 12-month replacement warranty on defective units. If you experience early failure, contact their support with your order number – but be aware that some Reddit users report inconsistent response times, so patience may be needed.

Question 5

Is this set better than buying official Xbox Play & Charge kits?

Accepted Answer

It depends. If you need a 4-pack for the price of one official kit, these are excellent for casual gamers or families. However, if you’re a daily power user, the official Play & Charge Kit often provides more consistent charging and longer-term reliability – you can find comparisons on YouTube showing the trade-offs in build quality.
