Question 1

Will this sprayer work with thick oils like olive or avocado oil, or will it clog?

Accepted Answer

The OLIVIA SIGNATURE sprayer is engineered for light to medium-viscosity oils (canola, grapeseed, sunflower). Thicker oils like extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil may clog the nozzle after repeated use. If you cook with thick oils regularly, we recommend warming the oil slightly before spraying or diluting it with a few drops of vinegar. Many users on TikTok have shared hack videos showing how to rinse the nozzle under hot water after each heavy-oil use to prevent buildup.

Question 2

I’ve seen complaints about leakage—is the bottle truly leakproof?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the bottle is designed to be leakproof when assembled correctly. However, a small number of users have reported seepage around the pump mechanism after several weeks of use. To avoid this, ensure the pump head is fully tightened and store the bottle upright. If you experience persistent leaking, our customer service team will replace the unit free of charge within 30 days—just reach out via the Amazon order page.

Question 3

How durable is the glass bottle? Will it break if dropped or when washing?

Accepted Answer

The bottle is made from thick borosilicate glass, which is more heat-resistant than standard glass—but it is still glass and can shatter if dropped on a hard floor. We do not recommend using it around young children or in high-traffic kitchen areas where it might be knocked over. For added safety, consider storing it away from the stovetop edge. If you prefer a unbreakable option, our MISTRO aluminum sprayer is a popular alternative.

Question 4

Is the 200ml size worth the price compared to cheaper plastic sprayers?

Accepted Answer

The 200ml glass bottle costs more upfront, but it’s refillable for years, saving you from buying disposable spray cans. The glass material is BPA-free and won’t degrade with repeated oil contact like plastic can. Many users on Reddit note that while cheaper plastic sprayers ($8–10) work similarly, they often warp or crack within 6 months. This bottle is a step up in durability and aesthetics—if you value a long-term eco-friendly option, it’s a good investment.

Question 5

How do I clean the sprayer to prevent clogging, and is the pump replaceable?

Accepted Answer

Cleaning is simple: after each use, rinse the pump by spraying warm water through the nozzle until it runs clear. Once a week, disassemble the pump head (it unscrews easily) and soak it in warm soapy water for 10 minutes. The pump mechanism is replaceable—if your nozzle clogs beyond repair, we sell replacement pump heads separately on our store. You don’t need to buy the whole bottle again.
