Question 1

Will one gallon kit truly cover my 2-car garage?

Accepted Answer

Based on numerous user reports, one gallon often falls short for a full two-car garage (typically 400-500 sq ft), especially on porous, unsealed concrete. For best results on a standard garage, we recommend purchasing 1.5 to 2 gallons. It's perfect for smaller projects like a single-car bay, basement section, or workshop area.

Question 2

How durable is this against hot car tires and chemicals?

Accepted Answer

While scratch-resistant for foot traffic and storage, user experiences vary regarding hot tire pickup. Some report no issues, while others note softening or peeling where tires rest, particularly in summer. For maximum durability against automotive fluids and heat, a dedicated 2-part epoxy kit or a commercial-grade coating may be a better long-term investment for a primary parking space.

Question 3

I've seen reviews about streaks and roller marks. How do I get a smooth, professional finish?

Accepted Answer

Achieving a smooth finish requires careful technique. Many TikTok and YouTube DIYers recommend using a high-quality epoxy roller cover, maintaining a "wet edge," and avoiding over-rolling. The product has a moderate self-leveling ability, but applying it too thickly or in very hot/dry conditions can lead to imperfections. Proper surface prep (etching/cleaning) is also critical.

Question 4

Is this a true epoxy, and how does it compare to 2-part kits?

Accepted Answer

This is a high-quality, single-component acrylic coating fortified with epoxy resins for easier application. It's more user-friendly with low odor, but a traditional 2-part epoxy (like Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield) typically creates a thicker, more chemical- and heat-resistant film. Our kit is an excellent choice for most residential garages and basements; choose a 2-part kit if you need industrial-level durability or are coating a high-traffic workshop.

Question 5

What is your return policy if the product doesn't meet my expectations or arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products. If your kit arrives damaged or leaking, please contact our customer support team immediately with photos for a replacement or refund. We recommend testing the product in an inconspicuous area first. If you are unsatisfied with the results on your main project, please reach out to us—we're here to help troubleshoot and find a solution.
