Question 1

Is this pan actually “giant” enough for large cat breeds like Maine Coons?

Accepted Answer

Many cat owners on Reddit and TikTok have praised this pan for everyday use, but some with extra-large breeds (20+ lbs) found it a bit snug. We recommend measuring your cat’s length—if they’re longer than 20 inches, you might prefer a wider covered box. For most average-sized cats, the 25” x 18” size provides plenty of room.

Question 2

Why do colors vary, and can I request a specific shade?

Accepted Answer

We understand the frustration—it’s one of the most common pre-order questions. Colors vary based on inventory batches, and we can’t guarantee a specific shade at this price point. The good news is returns are hassle-free if the color is a dealbreaker. Many users suggest treating it like a fun surprise, though we’re always listening to feedback on offering color choice.

Question 3

Will the high sides really stop litter from being kicked everywhere?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no. The raised walls (approximately 8 inches) do a great job containing urine splash and reducing scattered litter compared to standard low pans. However, if your cat is a ferocious digger, you may still see some stray pellets. A few TikTok reviewers solved this by placing the pan inside a larger storage tote—a clever budget hack!

Question 4

How durable is the plastic? Does it hold up over time or absorb odors?

Accepted Answer

The plastic is surprisingly sturdy for the price—many reviewers report using theirs for over two years without cracking. That said, plastic is porous, so regular deep cleaning with an enzyme cleaner (like Nature’s Miracle) is key. Users who switched to stainless steel pans often do so for odor control, not because this pan wears out.

Question 5

Is this better than a covered litter box? Who should buy this?

Accepted Answer

This pan is ideal if you want easy access for quick scooping, dislike enclosed spaces that trap smells, or have a cat that feels trapped in a hooded box. It’s a top pick for budget-conscious owners and first-time kitten parents. However, if you need a splash-proof solution or have a very tall cat, you might prefer a top-entry or high-walled covered model.
