Question 1

I have oily and acne-prone skin. Will this moisturizer work for me, or will it make me look greasy?

Accepted Answer

This is a key point from user reviews. While the cream is oil-free and lightweight, feedback is mixed for very oily skin types. Many users with combination or sensitive acne-prone skin love its non-greasy feel, but a notable number with truly oily skin found it didn't control shine as hoped. It's best for those seeking hydration without heavy oils, but if shine control is your top priority, you might prefer a mattifying gel moisturizer.

Question 2

Is the hydration from this cream long-lasting, or will my skin feel dry again quickly?

Accepted Answer

The Waterfall Glacier Water Cream is designed for a burst of refreshing, lightweight hydration that absorbs rapidly. Think of it as a "drink of water" for your skin. Many users on TikTok and Reddit adore this for daytime or in humid climates. However, if you have very dry skin or are used to rich creams, some find they need a more emollient product for nighttime or winter months, as the gel texture may not provide enough lasting moisture for them.

Question 3

Does this pill or ball up when layered under sunscreen or makeup?

Accepted Answer

Excellent news here! One of the most consistently praised benefits across reviews is how well it layers. Its fast-absorbing, water-based formula typically acts as a smooth, non-pilling base for both sunscreen and makeup. Many beauty enthusiasts on YouTube specifically recommend it as a primer for this reason.

Question 4

The jar looks small. How long does a 1.69 oz / 50ml container typically last with daily use?

Accepted Answer

With twice-daily use (a pea-sized amount for the entire face), most users report one jar lasts between 1.5 to 2 months. The pump helps with portion control. While the upfront cost may seem high, the longevity often justifies it for fans. The common social media comment on its "cute" size is balanced by mentions of it being a staple in their routine for a full season.

Question 5

I'm looking for a rich, reparative night cream. Is this suitable for that purpose?

Accepted Answer

This is an important distinction. While marketed as a day & night cream, its primary characteristic is its refreshing, gel-like texture. Users expecting a thick, buttery, or deeply nourishing "traditional" night cream have expressed it felt too lightweight. It's fantastic as a night cream for those who dislike heavy products or for summer PM routines, but if your goal is intense overnight repair for dry skin, you might be happier with a richer formula containing ceramides or peptides.
