Question 1

Are these bowls as small as some TikTok reviews warn? I need them for soy sauce dipping.

Accepted Answer

Yes, they measure 3.7 inches across. They are specifically designed as individual condiment bowls, perfect for a single portion of soy sauce, wasabi, or ginger. If you're preparing a large dip for a party, you may want a larger option. Many home cooks find them ideal for sushi nights, but not for family-style servings.

Question 2

How durable are these ceramic bowls, and can I put them in the microwave or dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

The stoneware is oven-safe up to 400°F and completely safe for microwave and dishwasher use. However, because each bowl is handcrafted, small variations in glaze (like tiny pinholes) are natural and do not affect durability. To extend their life, avoid stacking heavy objects on top of them.

Question 3

I’ve seen complaints about the bowls being too shallow for dipping—does sauce spill easily?

Accepted Answer

Good question. The bowls have a subtle curve but are not deep. Thick dips like ranch or sriracha mayo can splash over the edges, especially if filled near the rim. They work best for thin sauces like soy sauce or vinaigrette. For thicker dips, fill only halfway.

Question 4

Is the glaze food-safe and lead-free? I plan to use them for hot oil and chili crisp.

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The glaze is lead-free, food-safe, and designed for contact with hot and oily foods, including chili crisp, hot oil, and melted butter. The rustic, matte finish is fired at high temperatures, making it non-porous and stain-resistant.

Question 5

What if my bowls arrive damaged or I’m just not happy with the size?

Accepted Answer

The seller offers a standard 30-day return policy for defective or damaged items. If your bowls arrive chipped or cracked, contact support for a full refund or replacement. If you change your mind, note that the buyer usually covers return shipping for non-defective items, so double-check the listing for exact terms.
