Question 1

Is this cleaner powerful enough to remove tough, built-up tartar from my retainer?

Accepted Answer

For daily maintenance and removing fresh plaque, saliva, and odors, it's highly effective. However, based on user feedback, it's not designed for heavy, calcified tartar that has accumulated over a long period. For that, a professional cleaning from your dentist is recommended first. Think of it as a fantastic daily prevention tool rather than a heavy-duty restoration device.

Question 2

How durable is this machine? I've seen some reviews saying it stopped working.

Accepted Answer

Sentiment is mixed on long-term durability. Many users report trouble-free use for daily cleaning, while others have experienced malfunctions after several months. The unit comes with a standard warranty—we strongly recommend registering your product to ensure support. It's designed for personal, daily use with proper care (like avoiding overfilling and ensuring the lid is sealed).

Question 3

What can I realistically clean in this 250ml tank?

Accepted Answer

The capacity is ideal for one large night guard or two clear retainers at a time. It's also perfect for small batches of jewelry, toothbrush heads, or razor heads. If you need to clean multiple large mouthguards simultaneously, you would need to run separate cycles, as the tank isn't large enough to submerge several big items at once.

Question 4

Is it safe for all my dental appliances and delicate jewelry?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 52kHz ultrasonic waves are safe for most items. It works great on plastic retainers, clear aligners (like Invisalign), night guards, and metal braces accessories. For jewelry, it's safe for gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones—but always avoid porous stones like opals or pearls. As seen on social media, many users successfully use it to keep their everyday jewelry sparkling.

Question 5

Who would get the most value out of this cleaner?

Accepted Answer

It's an excellent fit for anyone who wears a retainer, night guard, or aligners daily and wants a convenient, hygienic alternative to manual brushing. It's also a hit for people who want to maintain small personal items like jewelry. If you're looking for an industrial-strength cleaner for heavily soiled tools or expect to run it constantly for large batches, a commercial-grade model with a larger tank might be a better match.
