Question 1

I have three 32-inch monitors, each around 15-17 lbs. Will this mount hold them securely without sagging over time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is designed for this exact scenario. The mount supports up to 44 lbs total and each arm uses a robust gas spring mechanism. Many users with similar triple-32" setups report excellent stability. For optimal performance with heavier arrays, ensure you fully tighten the tension knobs during setup and use a sturdy desk. A small number of users with setups at the absolute weight limit mention occasional minor adjustments may be needed to perfect the alignment.

Question 2

I'm worried about the C-clamp damaging my desk. Is it safe for desks with a rear lip or thinner surfaces?

Accepted Answer

This is a very common and valid concern. The C-clamp includes large rubber pads to distribute pressure and prevent scratches. For desks with a rear lip, the clamp typically fits without issue. However, if your desk is made of particleboard under 0.8 inches thick, has a hollow core, or is made of glass, we strongly recommend using the included grommet mount (requires a 3-inch hole) or adding a reinforcement plate underneath for peace of mind. Many TikTok setup tours specifically highlight checking your desk thickness first.

Question 3

How difficult is the assembly and installation process for one person?

Accepted Answer

Most users find installation manageable for one person, but having a friend help can make it easier, especially when positioning the arms. The instructions are functional, but several Reddit threads suggest a helpful tip: loosely assemble everything before fully tightening any bolts. This allows you to make all your adjustments (height, angle, spacing) first, then lock it all down. Setting aside 45-60 minutes for the full process, including cable management, is a good expectation.

Question 4

What's the real difference between the C-clamp and grommet mount, and which is more stable?

Accepted Answer

Both provide excellent stability when installed correctly. The C-clamp attaches to the back edge of your desk and is the quickest to install without modifying your desk. The grommet mount feeds through a pre-cut hole in your desk (requires ~3" diameter), which some users prefer for a cleaner look and because it centers the weight directly over the desk leg, potentially offering marginal stability on less sturdy desks. The choice is largely about your desk type and aesthetic preference.

Question 5

Once set up, how easy is it to adjust the position of a monitor?

Accepted Answer

Very easy for daily adjustments! The gas spring arms allow you to smoothly move your monitors up, down, forward, back, tilt, and swivel with minimal effort—no tools required. This is a feature users consistently praise for finding the perfect ergonomic position. However, if you need to change the *relative height* of one arm on the main pole, you will need to loosen a bolt, which is a more involved adjustment meant for initial setup, not daily use.
