Question 1

I'm 6'3" and about 240 lbs. Will this chair be comfortable, or is it too narrow?

Accepted Answer

The "Tall" design gives you great legroom—your knees won't be up near your chin—but several taller users on Reddit mentioned the seat width feels snug if you're over 230 lbs or have broad shoulders. If you're a lean 6'3", it's a solid fit. For wider frames, you might want to check the Rio Beach or an extra-wide camping chair instead.

Question 2

A lot of reviews mention the chair tipping backward when reclined. Is that a real problem?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your use. On flat, hard sand or grass, you're fine. But on soft, uneven sand or if you lean all the way back, the center of gravity shifts and some users have tipped over. A common TikTok tip: only recline to the 3rd or 4th position on sand, and save the full recline for solid ground.

Question 3

The five-star reviews look kind of suspicious. Is the chair actually worth buying?

Accepted Answer

You're right to be cautious—many of the glowing reviews do sound generic or incentivized. That said, the chair has a genuine following among tall, lightweight users who love the portability and color. The main complaints focus on plastic parts (cup holders, towel bar) feeling cheap. It's a solid value if you're under 230 lbs and don't plan to nap in it, but it's not a premium beach chair.

Question 4

How does the cooler bag actually perform? Can it keep drinks cold all day?

Accepted Answer

It's more of a "chill bag" than a true cooler. It'll keep drinks cool for about 2–3 hours if you pre-chill them and pack it full, but don't expect ice to last all afternoon. It's best for a few cans and a snack. If serious cold storage is a priority, you'll want a separate cooler.

Question 5

Will the towel bar actually hold a heavy wet towel without bending?

Accepted Answer

Honestly, it's the most complained-about feature. The bar is thin plastic and tends to bend under the weight of a wet beach towel. Many users just ignore it or drape a dry T-shirt there instead. It works fine for lightweight items, but don't count on it for a soaked towel after a swim.
