Question 1

Does this record player have built-in speakers, or do I need to buy separate ones?

Accepted Answer

It has built-in stereo speakers (2 x 3W plus an independent woofer), so you can start playing records without any extra equipment. If you want louder sound, you can connect external speakers via the RCA line-out.

Question 2

What speeds and record sizes does it support?

Accepted Answer

It supports 3 speeds (33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM) and 3 record sizes (7'', 10'' and 12''). Reviewers confirm the 3-speed settings work well for different records.

Question 3

How is the sound quality for casual listening?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers describe the sound as good, clear and enjoyable for casual listening, with balanced audio from the built-in speakers. Some note there is very little bass and that the 3W speaker power is modest, so connecting external speakers is needed if you want real volume.

Question 4

Is it easy to set up and use for a beginner?

Accepted Answer

Yes, reviewers say setup was quick and easy and that operation is simple — turn it on and play the record, with the arm starting and stopping automatically when moved from its resting point. It is described as a great first record player and ideal for beginners.

Question 5

Does it have Bluetooth, and can it connect to external speakers?

Accepted Answer

It supports Bluetooth input only (not output), so you can play music wirelessly from your phone. For external speakers, you connect via the RCA cable rather than Bluetooth.
