Question 1

Is this epilator painful to use, especially on sensitive areas like the bikini line or armpits?

Accepted Answer

Like most epilators, some discomfort is normal, especially your first few times. Many users find it less painful than waxing, but for the bikini line or armpits, start on the lowest speed and hold the skin taut. TikTok reviews often recommend exfoliating the day before and using it after a warm shower to minimize the sting. Over time, most people get used to the sensation.

Question 2

How does the battery life hold up over time? Does it last for a full leg session?

Accepted Answer

A full charge gives you about 30–40 minutes of continuous use, which is enough for both legs and underarms in one go. However, some long-term users report that battery capacity decreases slightly after 6–8 months, so if you have very long or dense hair, you may need a quick recharge mid-session. It charges fully in about 2 hours.

Question 3

Will it work on thick, coarse hair, or is it only for fine hair?

Accepted Answer

It’s best suited for fine to medium hair. For very coarse or thick hair, the 21 tweezers may struggle to grab every strand in one pass, which can leave some stubble. Many Reddit users with thick leg hair recommend using it dry and going over the area a second time. If you have coarse hair, you might prefer a higher-tweezers-count model like some Braun epilators.

Question 4

How loud is this epilator? Can I use it without waking up my partner?

Accepted Answer

It’s noticeably louder than a typical electric razor—some YouTube reviewers compare it to an electric toothbrush. It’s not whisper-quiet, so using it while someone sleeps in the same room might disturb them. That said, it’s not deafening; you can easily watch TV or listen to music with it on.

Question 5

Is it easy to clean and is it really waterproof?

Accepted Answer

The head is detachable and washable under running water, which makes cleaning simple after each use. However, the main body is splash-proof only—not fully waterproof—so don’t submerge it. Most users just rinse the epilator head and dry it with a cloth. For hygiene, the brand recommends cleaning it after every session to maintain performance.
