Question 1

Are these containers truly airtight and will they keep bugs out?

Accepted Answer

Yes, based on thousands of reviews, the silicone seal in the lid provides an excellent airtight closure for dry goods like grains, cereals, and pasta, which effectively helps keep pantry pests out. It's a common praise point! For ultimate peace of mind, ensure the lid's rim is clean and you hear a firm "click" when sealing. A small number of users have reported a single container in their set having a less perfect seal, so it's good to test each one upon arrival.

Question 2

What are the exact dimensions, and will they fit on a standard shelf?

Accepted Answer

Each 1200 ML container measures approximately 6.7" L x 4.7" W x 4.7" H. Their square design is praised for efficient, non-wasting space and stable stacking. They fit perfectly on standard-depth pantry shelves. However, as some Reddit users have pointed out, if your cabinet is particularly shallow or small, the "space-saving" benefit is more about utilizing shelf area fully rather than reducing the overall footprint.

Question 3

Is the plastic safe for food, and are they durable?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. These containers are made from BPA-free, food-grade plastic. In terms of durability, the main body is quite sturdy. The most common note from long-term users is to be gentle with the small plastic pull-tab on the lid, as it can be a potential stress point if yanked aggressively. The containers themselves hold up well to daily use and are top-rack dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

Question 4

What are these NOT good for storing?

Accepted Answer

They are designed for dry pantry goods. We do not recommend them for:
* Liquids or wet foods: They are not leakproof.
* Very fine powders (e.g., protein powder): The seal may not be fine enough to prevent slight dusting.
* Extremely strong-smelling spices: Some TikTok organizers have noted that potent spices like curry can leave a faint scent in the plastic over time. For those, dedicated glass spice jars are a better alternative.

Question 5

Can I buy replacement lids if one breaks or doesn't seal well?

Accepted Answer

Currently, replacement lids are not sold separately for this set by the manufacturer. The vast majority of users find the lids hold up excellently with normal care. However, if you receive a set where a lid is faulty or doesn't seal properly upon arrival, we recommend contacting the seller or VOLTURI customer support immediately, as this would be covered under warranty. Checking each container's seal when you first get them is a smart tip from experienced buyers.
